Rhéaume is a negotiator, speaker, seasoned lawyer, certified human resources professional and certified administrator specialized in labour law. For the past several years he has been listed as one of the leading lawyers in Canada in labour and employment law. He represents employers from the private, public and municipal sectors in addition to not-for-profit organizations.
Rhéaume advises clients on labour relations, labour standards, grievance arbitration, protection of personal information, certification, crisis management, human rights and employment injuries. He regularly intervenes to provide strategic advice to different organizations in complex situations involving human capital (ex., unionization campaign, drug problem, reorganization, harassment, theft of industrial secrets, etc.). He counsels a number of pan-Canadian organizations and federations.
A seasoned negotiator during collective bargaining, he regularly appears before the courts.
He devotes considerable time to professional development, often participating in specialized conferences and delivering in-house corporate training.
