Recruiters/Consultants & Managers
“Why Recruitment isn’t about METRICS! Or isit?”
Will Van Middendorp
Over the years, technology has become increasingly important in the recruitment process. It helps with sharing job descriptions to virtually anyone anywhere, speeds up the sourcing process to find qualified candidates and, since we are mostly living in a virtual world right now (due to COVID), online interviewing definitely has helped with improving the time to hire.
Another benefit of improved technology is that we are able to pull metrics more easily and (definitely) faster. Metrics like:
Source of hire
Time to hire
Applicants per hire
Cost per hire
Offer acceptance per hire etc.
This data is then used to adjust and improve strategies to become better and more successful in our work.
But the question is, are metrics really necessary to become better and more successful in our work?
Join me and let's find out!
